Pick a spray for even coverage, a light scent trail and a quick application on your way out the door. Pick an oil for something that sits close to the skin and stays where you put it. Both can carry the same pheromone compounds. The difference is the base, and the base changes how the product wears.

Shop for Men Shop for WomenIs pheromone oil better than spray?
Neither one wins across the board. They suit different situations. An oil uses an oil base, so it spreads very little and stays on the surface of your skin. A spray uses an alcohol base that evaporates within a minute or two, leaving the pheromone compounds, and any fragrance, behind on your skin.
That one difference drives everything else in this guide: how long each one stays put, how far it reaches, and when each one makes sense. If this is your first pheromone product, how you wear it matters more than which format you buy, so read the application section before you decide.
Does pheromone oil last longer than spray?
On the skin, usually yes. Oil evaporates slowly, so it holds its place for longer. The alcohol in a spray flashes off fast, which is why a spray feels lighter and drier the moment it goes on.
The trade-off is reach. An oil that lasts all evening also stays very close to you. A spray starts out reaching a little farther from your skin, then settles. So the useful question is not which lasts longer, but whether you want something close and steady or something that reaches out from the start.
Which one projects more?
The spray. Because the alcohol base lifts what it carries off the skin as it evaporates, a spray spreads into the air around you more than an oil does. An oil is a close-range choice: someone has to be near you, at a table or on a dance floor, to be in its range.
Neither is a reason to overdo it. A heavy hand with a scented spray just makes the fragrance loud.
Pick the one you would actually wear.
Scented is a fragrance you wear on its own. Unscented goes under the cologne or perfume you already own. Aware is unscented too, unisex, and dosed lighter for work and everyday.

Every one of these is covered by the same 60-day guarantee, opened bottles included.
How do you apply oil and spray?
Spray: our cartons direct two to three sprays to the neck or wrists. Put it on clean, dry skin before you go out, then let it settle.

Oil: a small dab on the same spots, the sides of the neck or the inside of the wrists. Oils go further than people expect, so start with less than you think you need.
Either way, apply it before the evening starts, not halfway through it. The product is there to be part of the first impression.
Can you wear either one under your cologne or perfume?
Yes, if it is unscented. An unscented spray or oil goes under the cologne or perfume you already own, so you keep your signature scent and add the pheromone blend underneath it. That is exactly what our unscented formulas are made for: Max Attraction for Men, Unscented and Max Attraction for Women, Unscented.
A scented product, oil or spray, is a fragrance in its own right. Wear it on its own rather than stacking it with another scent.
Which is better for work, and which for a night out?
For work and everyday, you want something discreet that stays close: an oil, or a light, unscented spray. Aware is unscented, unisex and dosed lighter for exactly that kind of day.
For a night out, a scented spray makes sense. It goes on in seconds, reaches the people around you in a busy room, and doubles as your fragrance for the evening. Max Attraction GOLD for men and Max Attraction Silk for women are built for that.
Why is our own line all sprays?
All five of our own formulas are sprays, for three practical reasons. A spray puts down the same amount every time, so two to three sprays is a dose you can repeat. It works with or without fragrance, which is how the Max Attraction blends come in both scented and unscented versions. And it fits the way most people actually use these products: on the way out the door.
If you are still deciding which one fits you, our buyer's guide walks through it, or the short quiz will point you at one bottle. Whichever you choose, it is covered by our 60-day guarantee, opened bottles included.
